Description
This kit covers the 2599 wagons built at Derby in 1947. These were fitted with a distinctive style of pressed side and end door and with bottom discharge doors but with no top side doors fitted. Some of these wagon lasted in service well into the 1970s.
This kit has all the underframe detail of our LMS 13 Ton Diag. 2102 kit and includes individual leaf springs, couplings and sprung buffers. The side and end doors also open prototypically. Finely etched builders plates are included with numbers for seven alternate wagons.
