Description
This highly-detailed kit covers the 800 wagons built to this diagram between 1936-1938 – several of which survived well into the 1960s. Metal clad wooden bolster assemblies are supplied with ‘LMS’ & the individual wagon numbers included on the bolster sides, which are matched to the multiple sets of number plates that are also provided. Detailed securing chain assemblies are also included.
The underframe is fully detailed and the kit includes individual leaf springs, sprung buffers and a prototypical centrally sprung coupling assembly.
