Description
The classic Bedford MK was used by British forces from 1970 and remained in service for some 44 years. From 1981 the MK was reclassified MJ as they were re-engined with diesel powerplants, in place of the original multi-fuel engines.
This kit is in injection resin, cast metal and etched brass – it includes superb chassis detail, full cab interior detailing, our multi-layer cab window glazing system, finely-etched radiator grille and makers plate detailing, and a multi-layer etched wheel hub assembly, with all the distinctive detail of the real thing. It is hard to imagine many British Army scenes of the late twentieth century, where a Bedford MK/J is not too far away.
