Making A Purchase. Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on ‘Checkout’ and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
At check out the correct postage will be applied according to the international zone/region being sent to. Note that ALL orders are sent tracked [both within the UK and Overseas], and the tracking number will be included in the email we send notifying you of the completion [dispatch] of your order. Be sure to check your ‘SPAM’ folder as emails from .com addresses can often be treated by Internet Service Providers as ‘junk’ mail!
We do not charge for any item unless it is in stock and ready to ship.
When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Shipping And Handling. We charge a Flat Rate by area for this. Flat Rate shipping means the more you order, the more you potentially save on shipping, as we will only charge the Flat Rate quoted at checkout, regardless of the cost to us
Please Note – if an order fails you to reach you, a replacement will be sent once the parcel has been established as lost. Please be aware that Royal Mail does not regard an item in transit as lost until 30 days from the posting date.
Important note for EU Customers -The UK has now left the EU and EU customers should keep in mind that they will almost certainly be charged Import Duty at the rate applicable to the delivery country when they receive their parcel. This has obviously always applied to goods leaving the UK to non-EU countries.
Delivery Schedule. We try to dispatch all orders within 3 working days. This is a target rather than a promise! Exceptionally, if we are ill or on holiday – your order may take longer to be sent.Back Orders. We do not operate a back-order policy because if an item is available to buy on our web site, then it is in stock.
Payments. We take payment through Paypal or Woo Pay (Credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and more) We will not hold or store your card information. And will only use it in regards to processing your order.
Privacy Policy. David J. Parkins do not disclose buyers’ information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.
Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the ‘Remember Me’ Option. They are also used after you have logged on as part of that process. You can turn off cookies within your browser by going to ‘Tools | Internet Options | Privacy’ and selecting to block cookies. If you turn off cookies, you will be unable to place orders or benefit from the other features that use cookies.Data collected by this site is used to:

c. Only disclose information to third-parties for goods delivery purposes
Missing or Damaged Parts Replacement Policy. We will replace these parts free of any charge including shipping costs providing these are reported to us within 21 days of receipt of your order. We will require your receipt number and will insist on sending any parts to the same address as your original order was shipped to. Please note that we will NOT replace parts free of charge from any of our products that were purchased second-hand or from third-party suppliers, such as on Ebay, or damaged by the user. Please Note – we cannot provide replacements for missing or damaged parts from discontinued items purchased secondhand, such as on eBay or beyond 21 days froim purchase date from us.
Returns Policy. Under the United Kingdom’s Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel the contract for any purchased items within 14 days of delivery. This applies to all of our products. However, we regret that we cannot accept cancellations of contracts for the purchase of any products which have been damaged or the kits started or constructed.
To cancel this contract, please package the relevant item/s securely and send back to us with a copy of your invoice/receipt within 14 days of the date that the item was delivered to you, giving the reason for the return as “Contract Cancellation”. The return address is:

For your protection we would insist that you use a recorded-delivery or tracked service. Please note that you will be responsible for the all the costs of returning the goods to us unless we delivered the item to you in error or the item is faulty. (This does not include missing parts as we also have a missing parts replacement policy.)
Failure to receive the item back from you would mean we may arrange for the collection of the item from your residence at your cost. (possibly by courier)
You should be aware that, once we begin the delivery process, you will not be able to cancel any contract you have with us for services carried out by us (for example, postage and packing, etc).
